You have to admit, Beauty & the Geek is quite the guilty pleasure, and with season four getting ready to air, we have the scoop on the newest geeks and beauties this season! there is an AWESOME twist this season though!

Competing against the partnered hot women and brainy men is another incongruous pair: a gorgeous guy and a geeky girl. Sam is a 26-year-old party promoter from Davis, Calif., who will be teamed up with Nicole, a 25-year-old Tufts University musicology grad student from San Francisco. This new couple will not only test the concept of book smarts versus social smarts, but also provide a gender-based twist to the formula.

Man, I can’t wait for this one, and see how this geeky girl and hot guy fare against the rest of them.

The two hour premiere is on September 18th at 8pm.

You know how it goes, you get these model-types on a reality show like Beauty & the Geek or the Bachelor, and they always come across as though they don’t even have two brain cells to rub together. But they always proclaim that the show edited them to look that dumb… really, the show edited all of you to look that way and forgo any momentary flashes of brilliance that these women have… however, you never hear the girls say exactly what they did that would have made them look smarter! But I degress…

Kristen from E had the opportunity to catch up with Sanjay and Tori after they were booted from the show. And Tori does the typical “they edited me that way” whine. But Sanjay steals the spotlight when he talked to Kristen.

even spoke with the show’s first eliminees, Sanjay and Tori, last week. Wow, was she upset! She was very sweet but clearly distraught over “looking like a big dummy” on TV. She actually visited the CW Website and read all the awful things people posted about her (never a good idea, which is why I steer clear of my own site—kidding). Tori insisted that the show edited her to look stupid, but Sanjay denied that, saying the camera doesn’t lie and it is what it is. Turns out they really did dislike each other quite a bit. See, the camera doesn’t lie!

I think Tori was a death sentence to whomever she was stuck with. Would love to see a twist in the show that would elminate just one of the guys in the show and get Sanjay back in. He needs to get a girl!

Well, you have to give credit to Sanjay. He just didn’t have a lot to work with when it came to Tori. She cries when she can’t find a library book going by its Dewey Decimal System number, and when she is going to interview an author about his book, she doesn’t even open the book until seconds before she takes the interview seat… then asks him questions about parenting when his book is about, uh, economics. Painful.

There is a twist when the beauties and the geeks are offered $20,000 to just walk away from the game. But in the end, no one takes it.

Tori and Sanjay as well as Erin and Drew are the two teams chosen for potential elimination. And after Tori’s lack of a single brain cell becomes readily apparent, Tori and the unfortunate Sanjay get eliminated from the game.

If you missed it, the CW will repeat the episode this Sunday at 8pm.

Let’s get your geek on! Beauty & the Geek has announced the reality show contestants. And you will be able to watch the socially awkward men with their pretty-but-oh-so-dumb beauty counterparts with a two hour season premiere on January 3rd.

The third season will start its eight episode run at 8-10pm on the CW on January 3rd, the return the following Wednesday airing from 8-9pm. There will also be encore airings of the episodes on Sunday nights in case you miss one.
